Elias Stemeseder (1990) is a pianist, keyboardist, electronic musician and composer. He is currently active on stage on acoustic piano, harpsichord, synthesizers and samplers. He is part of the electro-acoustic group ' Stemeseder - Lillinger' (with Christian Lillinger), ' Neon Dilemma' with Robert Landfermann and Leif Berger, 'Wrens' with Ryan Easter, Jason Nazary and Lester St. Louis. He also works as a duo with trumpeter Peter Evans and keyboardist Georg Vogel. He also performs as a sideman in ensembles together with musicians such as Anna Webber, Adam O'Farrill, Ingrid Laubrock, Chris Tordini, Philipp Gropper or Eric McPherson.
Recent releases include 'UMBRa', ' Piano Solo' (Intakt Records), 'Penumbra' (Plaist Records) and 'Ddiofeo' (Schattellit Records). Elias Stemeseder was 'Artist in residence' at 'The Stone NYC' in September 2022 and is the winner of the German Jazz Award 2023 in the Pianist/Keyboardist of the Year category.
